Picture this: A chance encounter with a fashion agent selling garments to prestigious brands like ASOS, Selfridges, and Harvey Nichols sparked a creative collaboration. Together, we embarked on a journey to create something unique. As fate would have it, I stumbled upon an empty shop on the trendy Old Compton Street in Soho, London. Without hesitation, I seized the opportunity and rented the space, birthing the iconic menswear brand, MAN London.
Idea
I ❤️ MAN
“My clothing is rarely a conversation piece, but I certainly get a few looks” Dan tells me. I could immediately see why: Dan arrived in a dark denim jeans, black tee shirt, and a baseball cap. It would be a great look on anyone, and that’s the point Dan designs for the average MAN.

EXCLUSIVE TO HARVEY NICHOLS
Dan knew what most other men knew: High-fashion brands didn’t make clothes for the average MAN. He just knew how to get around that and Harvey Nichols, Selfridegs and ASOS all agreed.

MAN LONDON
“It took a lot of trial and error,” Dan said of his early efforts to transform tall men’s fashion into the average sized outfits he was excited to wear. (He currently wears between a small and medium, what he calls “slim-fit,” but he has worn up to extra small in the past.)
Impact
MAN LONDON
For years Dan honed his fashion instincts while buying and wearing menswear, and motivated by the sudden availability of a store location in Soho London, he created his own line, MAN LONDON, which also debuted in Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and ASOS.
